The Opportunity
You'll be our Short-form Video Storyteller—the person who turns our ideas into scroll-stopping content that educates, inspires, and spreads our mission across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
This isn't a cookie-cutter editing gig. You'll produce 30 high-quality videos per month while collaborating directly with our Co-founders (Bryan Ang, CMO + Melvin Soh, Head of Creatives) and Content Manager to shape our viral strategy.

What You'll Do
Video Production & Editing (Your Craft)
- Produce short-form videos monthly across TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts
- Execute seamless transitions, motion graphics, and effects that enhance (not distract from) the message
- Ensure every frame reflects Market Leaders' brand—consistent, professional, globally excellent
Viral Strategy & Hook Creation (Your Edge)
- Analyze trending formats weekly and adapt them for business education content
- Create scroll-stopping hooks that grab attention in under 3 seconds
- A/B test thumbnails, captions, pacing, and video structures to optimize performance
Content Optimization (Your Systems)
- Repurpose long-form content (webinars, podcasts, interviews) into snackable short-form gold
- Optimize videos for platform-specific algorithms (what works on TikTok ? Reels ? Shorts)
- Add captions, subtitles, and accessibility features (because inclusive content wins)
Creative Collaboration (Your Team Play)
- Work closely with Content Manager on content calendar and briefs
- Align with Melvin (Head of Creatives) on brand aesthetics and iteration
- Implement Bryan's strategic direction while contributing your creative insights
- Balance input from multiple stakeholders without ego or drama
Performance-Driven Iteration (Your Growth)
- Track what's working (and what's not) based on retention, engagement, and feedback
- Document best practices and create repeatable systems for efficiency
- Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and viral trends
What You Bring
Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)
- Experience & Portfolio
- 2+ years editing short-form content (TikTok/Reels/Shorts specifically—not just YouTube)
- Portfolio with links to your work (show us the videos, the data, the results)
- Proven ability to produce high volume without sacrificing quality (show us you've hit 20-30+ videos/month before)
- Experience in business/education content (coaches, thought leaders, marketing education—not just lifestyle/entertainment)
Technical Skills
- Mastery of video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve—quality matters more than the tool)
- Motion graphics basics (text animations, kinetic typography, smooth transitions)
- Color grading, audio mixing, and pacing that keeps viewers locked in
- Thumbnail design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar)
Strategic Mindset
- Deep understanding of TikTok/Reels/Shorts algorithms (you know why some videos explode and others flop)
- Trend-spotting ability—you're on the platforms daily, studying what's working NOW
- Hook psychology—you understand the first 3 seconds make or break retention
- Storytelling in 15-60 seconds—you can compress complex ideas into punchy, engaging narratives
Work Ethic & Execution
- Deadline-driven
- Detail-obsessed—you catch the 0.5-second timing issues others miss
- Organized—asset management, version control, and file naming are second nature
- Self-directed—you don't need hand-holding but know when to ask questions
